Those interested in a career in the Motor Trade Natural progression from Level 1 IMI What will I study ? - Carry Out Routine Vehicle Maintenance - Conduct Pre and Post Work Vehicle Inspections - Health and Safety - Remove and Replace Engine Units and Components - Remove and Replace Light Vehicle Auxiliary Electrical Units and Components - Remove and Replace Light Vehicle Chassis Units and components - Remove and Replace Light Vehicle Transmission and Driveline Units and Components - Valet Vehicles How will I be assessed ? The course has a wide variety of assessment methods including: practical assessment, on-line testing, unit end-tests & coursework, all of which have to be completed for success. This course is split 50% practical, 50% theory. What qualifications could I achieve ? On successful completion of this course, students can progress onto the BTEC National Diploma in Vehicle Repair & Technology Level 3 or the BTEC National Diploma in Motorsport Level 3 Barnet and Southgate College.
