Who is this course for? This qualification is designed to help learners build the knowledge and skills needed when working with children and young people from birth to 19 years. This course is aimed at people who are working or wish to work in the children and young people's workforce in England. What qualifications or experience do I need ? Learners should be at least 16 years old. Working towards Literacy at Level 2 is required. What will I study ? Early Learning and Childcare Mandatory and optional pathways. Internal assessment by a range of methods including direct observations, e-portfolio of evidence, written assignments and a set of tasks set by CACHE. What qualifications could I achieve ? The Certificate will require 35 credits. What can the course lead to ? Children & Young People's Diploma Level 3. How do I join the course ? Complete part time application form. Will I need an interview ? Yes. Are there any extra costs for equipment/materials ? Extra Costs will include: * Study Materials * Travel costs to and from your placement. * CRB * Text book Further Information You will need to provide evidence of 12 hours placement at interview. You will need access to a PC for independent study.
