Possible future career paths include IT Help desk operator, trainee technician, IT support technician, network technician. The course provides a mix of theory and practical subjects as well as on-line materials. The course also includes the Cisco/HP IT Essentials 1 and CompTIA A+ vendor qualifications. The course is an excellent choice for students who are interested in the practical aspects of computer operation wish to develop their skills and knowledge in that area. What qualifications or experience do I need ? There are no formal qualification requirements but an interest in and knowledge of computer hardware is essential. Not suitable for novices.
