Who is this course for? This course is designed for both men and women who wish to pursue a career in Beauty Therapy and have successfully achieved Level 2 Beauty Therapy. What qualifications or experience do I need ? Applicants must have: * A satisfactory reference * Good manual dexterity and oral communication * Level 2 Beauty Therapy - full qualification * A GCSE grade A-C in Science is required (or equivalent) * Basic skills in literacy and numeracy at Level 2 What will I study ? This course will cover the following topics: * Functional Skills * Face and body electrical * Self Tanning * Body Massage * Epilation * Salon Management * Health and Safety * Associated Theory * Anatomy and Physiology * Indian Head Massage * Tutorial How will I be assessed ? Assessment will be through: * Practical work * Oral assessments * Written assessments What qualifications could I achieve ? On successful completion of this course, you will achieve a Beauty Therapy Level 3 Diploma What can the course lead to ? Students who successfully complete this course may choose to progress to Level 4 Spa Management or to HE or seek employment in the Industry. How do I join the course ? Applicants will need to complete and return an application form, then attend an interview. Proof of qualifications to be brought to interview. Will I need an interview ? Yes.
