C&G 2365 L2 Dip Electrical Installations

Who is this course for? For anyone interested in becoming an electrician or undertaking a higher level of study in electrical engineering. This could be a good starting point for you. What qualifications or experience do I need ? Students will normally need to have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade - A*-D, including English and Maths. Mature students without these qualifications may be considered, provided they can demonstrate academic ability to succeed at Level 2. Students must pass an initial assessment in Maths and English to a minimum of Level 1. Students must have positive attitude to learning and clear motivation to study. What will I study ? - Electrical Installations Technology - Health and safety in building services engineering - Installation of wiring systems and enclosures - Principles of Electrical Science - Understand how to communicate with others within building services engineering How will I be assessed ? Students will be taught in the classroom and workshop and will be assessed through: Practical Assignments and City and Guilds on-line multiple choice tests. What qualifications could I achieve ? Level 2 certificate in Electrical Installation (Buildings and Structures) What can the course lead to ? This course will enable students to progress into employment, although not as a fully qualified electrician, or to the following City & Guilds qualifications: Diploma in Electrical Installation (Buildings and Structures) Level 3, Diploma in Electrotechnology Level 3, and 17th Edition Wiring Regulations - C&G 2382).
