BTEC L3 Diploma IT Users

Who is this course for? This course is designed for those seeking a career in Computing or who would like to progress to an ICT/Computing programme in Higher Education. This course runs at Wood Street and Grahame Park and Southgate. What qualifications or experience do I need ? Applicants must have the following qualifications: 4 GCSE's at Grade C or above in acceptable academic subjects. BTEC First Diploma ICT Ability to pass an assessment at Level 2 in Maths and English To progress to Year 2, successful completion of Year 1. What will I study ? In total you will study 12 units - 3 Core Units and a range of specialist units including: Website Production Digital Graphics Computer Animation Software Design Computer Networks How will I be assessed ? All units are assessed by internal, on-going assignments using a variety of methods. Each unit will include a number of assessments. What qualifications could I achieve ? On successful completion of this course, you will achieve a BTEC National L3 Diploma IT Users (equivalent to 2 A Levels). What can the course lead to ?
