Who is this course for? A student who wishes to study full-time to progress to university courses having recently achieved a range of GCSE and AS qualifications. On successful completion of this subject, the candidate will gain an A Level certificate in Film Studies. What can the course lead to ? On successful completion of this course, you may progress to a university course of your choosing according to the subjects and grades that you have achieved. How do I join the course ? You must complete a Full-Time application form and make an appointment for an interview with a tutor. References will be required from your previous educational establishment. Will I need an interview ? Yes, before you can enrol. Are there any extra costs for equipment/materials ? Yes, students should be prepared to purchase some text books and DVDs. Also cinema visits are essential for the course. You should also have access where possible to Film video recording facilities and appropriate computer software.
