This two-day refresher/requalification first aid training course covers a wide range of first aid emergencies so you can handle them safely and with confidence in the workplace.
If the assessment of first aid needs at your workplace highlights the need for qualified first aiders, this course provides the correct training.
You study a range of subjects on the course which include:
- legalities, responsibilities and reporting
- infection control
- assessment of the situation
- resuscitation
- choking
- dealing with an unresponsive casualty

If the assessment of first aid needs at your workplace highlights
the need for qualified first aiders, this course provides the
correct training.
You study a range of subjects on the course which include:

Learning activities include theory and practical sessions.
On successful completion of the course you will gain a qualification that meets the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 - subject to assessment, you get a certificate approved by the Health and Safety Executive. This qualification is valid for three years and can then be renewed by attending a suitable refresher course.
No prior qualifications required although courses are restricted to 12 students.
It is recommended that you attend a three-hour refresher course annually.
