EFL Tuesday Evening

Would you like to improve your English language skills and work towards a recognised qualification?
On this course you will practise pronunciation and work on your language skills - speaking, listening, reading and writing.

On this course you will learn:
- Correct English pronunciation
- Accurate spoken English via error correction

You will be given written homework and your teacher will mark this and suggest ways for you to move forward in terms of grammar and vocabulary. Examination entry is optional and the cost is not included in the course fee.

You will be prepared for FCE CAE or IELTS exams via stimulating real language contexts. You will be asked to work in pairs or in small groups to improve your spoken fluency accuracy and pronunciation and maximise your learning.

You will improve your language enabling you to use English more effectively in work situations and/or in an academic environment.
You will also be awarded a College certificate and you can chose to take the FCE CAE or IELTS exam.

You need to have a speaking interview and a placement test to ensure that you are placed in a similar class level to other learners.

We can also give you advice and information to help you plan your next step whether you would like to study another course at the College or at university, or if you are looking for work.

You will study for two hours a week. You will also be expected to study by yourself at home.
