This course is ideal for those aged 16-18 although anyone aged 19 or over (and anyone with programming experience) will be considered. This course is designed to provide professional training and skills in IT and to maximise your prospects of career development.

How Will I Be Assessed?

You will undertake continuous assignments, which may be presented in a variety of ways including projects, written work and group presentations.

Entry Requirements

You will have achieved 5 GCSEs at grade C or above including Maths and English. A vocational qualification at Level 2 in an appropriate subject area can also count towards this requirement.

Additional Information

A £50 fee will be payable on enrolment for a programme of trips that will be arranged throughout the academic year.

The course offers an established route into Higher Education and is a good second stage for those seeking a career in technical or customer support, computer systems sales and marketing, all levels of programming, systems analysis and design and software
