Introduction

This one year programme is for students with moderate learning difficulties, who are 19+, although the minimum age is 16. The course is designed to be a stand-alone course for students looking towards employment, starting work or are ready to live more independently. 'Progressions' courses such as this one are designed to be stand-alone courses for those looking towards employment, starting work or are ready to live more independently. You can choose up to four courses, depending on availability and suitability. Functional skills include Maths, English and ICT.

There will be assessments throughout the course and students will be required to complete worksheets and to collect witness statements.

Entry Requirements

There are no minimum entry requirements, but you will need to show a high level of commitment to the programme. You will also need to attend an interview and will need to provide a reference.
