This course gives a general overview of maintenance and repair of motor vehicles on the IMI apprenticeship programme.What Will I Learn
You will gain basic practical skills of all aspects of general car maintenance and repair through the college experience, and this will be backed up by a foundation of basic knowledge gained from your employment.Example Modules

How Will I Be Assessed?
There will be practical and theory assessments throughout the year with your college work. You will also be given an onsite assessor to help you build your Level 2 portfolio with observations and any other evidence you may of collected.Entry Requirements
You will have a minimum of 4 passes (D) grade GCSEs including English, Maths and Science and achieved the IMI Level 1 Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance (QCF). You will also need to be employed in the automotive industry. Entry is also dependant on an interProgression
