Touch-Typing (e-Type)

Learn to touch-type in a fun and easy way!
Touch-typing will increase your speed and efficiency when using a computer.  Training involves using ten fingers to type (without having to look at the keyboard) – along with speed-building exercises.  Touch-typing will improve your confidence and typing speed when using a computer at home, at college or at work.  This qualification is recognised as highly valuable by both employers and academic institutions.

Students sit the ‘e-type’ online touch-typing test when they have reached an suitable level of competence – to achieve the qualification, they must achieve a speed of over 40 words per minute with accuracy of over 98%.
