Level: Level 3
The course covers choreography, performance and theory. Students will study the principles used to create dance choreography, producing trios, duets, solos, group dances and site specific choreographic work. Students will develop performance skills and dance technique through a range of styles including ballet, contemporary, jazz, urban and international dance. They will also have the opportunity to experiment in contact improvisation, developing their interactive, performance and choreographic skills. Students study nutrition and anatomy, allowing them to understand their own and others bodies.
