SAP BusinessObjects: Administering Servers XI 3.0/3.1

Overview

• Use the Central Management Console (CMC) and the Central Configuration Manager (CCM) to manage and configure the servers and troubleshoot system problems.

This three-day instructor-led course explains and demonstrates what each server component in Business Objects Enterprise does and how it is configured. Delegates will install and configure each component and learn how information flows from server to server for system processes such as logging on to the system, scheduling reports, and viewing reports.
The business benefit of this course is that it provides a foundation for system architects/administrators who are responsible for administering servers on the BusinessObjects Enterprise platform.

Prerequisites

To be successful, delegates who attend this course must have attended the following offerings or have the equivalent knowledge:
• Business Objects Enterprise XI 3.0: Administration and Security

Delegates must also have a working knowledge of:
• Tasks involved in supporting Business Objects Enterprise users and groups access corporate data through InfoView
• Business Objects Enterprise account management & content management
• Business Objects Enterprise security concepts
