Course Description

ArchiMate® is an international standard established by The Open Group®. The standard describes the graphical language for modeling enterprise architecture.

This training course is designed to enable trainees to develop the skills and knowledge needed to perform effective Enterprise Architecture modeling using the ArchiMate® 3.1 language. During the training, participants will learn about the structure of the language and its concepts, principles and assumptions. The training focuses heavily on practical exercises that consist of analyzing and creating models compatible with the ArchiMate® 3 standard. Upon completion of this course and a successful certification exam at Pearson VUE Test Centers, participants will receive the ArchiMate® 3 Practitioner certificate.ArchiMate® 3 course is accredited by The Open Group®.

Exam Details

ArchiMate 3 Part 1 exam

  • Format: Multiple-choice exam with 40 questions
  • Duration: 60 minutes
  • Passing Score: 60%, requiring a minimum of 24 correct answers out of 40
  • Exam Conditions: Closed-book; no external resources or materials are allowed during the exam

ArchiMate 3 Part 2 exam

  • Format: Multiple-choice exam with 8 questions.
  • Duration: 90 minutes.
  • Scoring System:
  • Five points for each correct answer.
  • Three points for each second-best answer.
  • One point for each third-best answer.
  • Zero points for distractor (incorrect) answers.
  • Passing Score: 65%, requiring a minimum of 26 points out of 40 to pass.
  • Exam Conditions: Open book, allowing the use of external resources and materials during the exam.

FAQ

When is the classroom schedule?

Depending on the starting dates, our classroom courses are consecutively held from 10 am - 6 pm (CET) with lunch breaks in between

Will missing a live class affect my ability to complete the course?

Yes, you may be subject to not getting the exam voucher if you don't attend a class. Therefore, it's better always to let us know at least 2 weeks in advance if you require any rescheduling requests.
