The course aims to prepare participants for IT4IT certification of the consortium The Open Group. During this practical eLearning, participants gain basic knowledge of the new industry standard, including key concepts, IT value chain and IT4IT reference architecture.

The education in IT4IT ™ Foundation (Level 1) is accredited by The Open Group®.

COURSE OVERVIEW

The training is intended for those who work with the management and development of IT structures in the company.

IT4IT™ Reference Architecture, version 2.1, is a standard from The Open Group that describes a reference architecture and an operating model based on the value chain to manage IT operations. IT4IT™ uses the strategy for the value chain to create a functional model that is implemented by IT. This framework identifies the most important activities that IT must perform to contribute to increased competitiveness of the company.

With IT4IT™ Reference Architecture, version 2.1, IT specialists find the value chain framework and reference architecture that defines an integrated management framework focused on the service life cycle.

The course participant can continuously follow how much of the course has been completed and which parts remain. The total study time is estimated at about 20 hours.

At the end of this practical eLearning, participants will acquire relevant knowledge to obtain IT4IT™ Foundation (Level 1) certification.
