Meet the instructor:
Steve is a musician, songwriter, luthier and vintage guitar connoisseur. He is an accomplished guitar technician with over 30 years of experience in the repair, modification, restoration, and construction of both vintage and new guitars. Soest works closely with Fender Guitars So Cal Service Center and is a consultant with Fenders Custom Shop and Artist Endorsement Programs. Steve has a distinguished client list including many of the worlds greatest guitarists: Brian Setzer, David Hidalgo, Dave Mason, Van Halen, The Rolling Stones, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. When not in the repair shop, you can catch Steve playing gigs around the LA/OC area with the band Superlark.

What are the requirements?
- You must be 16 or over
- You should have a basic understanding of English, Maths and ICT
- You will need a computer or tablet with internet connection (or access to one)
How will I be assessed?
- You will have one assignment. Pass mark is 65%.
- You will only need to pay £19 for assessment.
- You will receive the results within 72 hours of submittal, and will be sent a certificate in 7-14 days.
What Certification am I going to receive?
Those who successfully pass this course will be awarded a Guitar Set-Up and Maintenance certificate. Anyone eligible for certification will receive a free e-certificate, and printed certificate.
What careers can I get with this qualification?
