AAC 100 Scope & Cost Management

This course provides a solid introduction to Scope & Cost Management, specifically for project planners, project managers, and novice scope and cost managers. You will learn how to set up a Product Breakdown Structure, Work Breakdown Structure, and Work Packages, enabling you to organize projects in a clear and structured manner. You will also gain insight into setting up a Cost Breakdown Structure and Cost Accounts, and managing Budgets, Funds, and Cash Flows. You will delve into methods such as Productivity and Rules of Credit, learn how to apply Progress & Percent Complete Weighting, and gain tools for dealing with changes in Scope and Work Packages. The goal is to plan projects effectively, keep costs under control, and report progress clearly.

In this course, you will prepare yourself for using the Scope and Cost app within Oracle Primavera Cloud. You will discover that scope is the foundation of every project. There is a strong focus on drawing up and maintaining the scope, and you will work with cost sheets to record the financial aspects of scope items. You will learn how to efficiently manage change processes and scope changes within the scope. You will also practice calculating quantities and determining percentages. This will give you a good grasp of both the content and budgetary aspects of projects.
