We are a further education college based in the heart of West Lancashire, across three main sites; the Ormskirk Campus, Skelmersdale Campus and the £2.3m purpose built West Lancashire Construction Academy (Skelmersdale).

We have recently opened a ground breaking, state of the art £42.8m campus in Skelmersdale set to improve the life chances of thousands of people across West Lancashire through quality education, training and skills.

We offer full-time, part-time day and evening courses, Apprenticeships for all ages and a range of industry standard training, from entry through to degree level.

West Lancashire College has gone from strength to strength and is now graded 'Good with outstanding features' by Ofsted and holds Beacon status in the Further Education Sector. The performance of our college has improved year on year and the success rates for 10/11 are in the top 10% of college’s nationally.   We have over 3500 students and work with over 1000 employers.
