Virtual Village Pub has been providing training in the basics of finance since 2004, using a dynamic and constantly evolving business simulation to bring a potentially dry subject to life.
Participants take over tired, run-down pubs and try to improve their fortunes and their profitability, learning about the basics of accounting and exploring how business decisions flow through into profitability.
The one-day workshop is for 4 to 12 people. A shorter version is available for corporate events, which takes three hours and can accommodate 6 to 40 people, playing in teams.
All programmes are now delivered online using Microsoft Teams.
