If this is your first module you will need to attend one of the induction days prior to your module start date. These are running in Lancaster on; 18 and 19 September 2013, 08 January 2014, 26 March 2014 and in Carlisle on; 20 September 2013, 07 January 2014, 25 March 2014.

If you have studied at the University of Cumbria in the past two years, the requirement to attend the induction day may be waived.

Why study with us?HPHP6000 Clinical Decision Making in Contemporary Paramedic Practice is a 40 credit core module which will be studied throughout the length of the programme. It will enable the student to develop their knowledge and skills in clinical decision making in relation to the assessment and care management of patients/clients through contemporary paramedic practice. In order to be responsive to the constantly changing nature of pre-hospital care practice, the student will critically explore contemporary issues in practice and evaluate the impact on practice that new developments may bring.

Selection criteriaEvidence of prior successful study at underpinning level. Be studying towards BSc Hons Practice Development: Developing Paramedic Practice top up
Applicants will be required to complete a telephone interview with the programme leader.

The closing date for applications is 5 working days prior to the module start date or, if this is your first module, 5 working days prior to the induction date.
