Why study Business Computing at Dundee?

The IT specialists of the next decade will need to be multiskilled in order to keep up with the technological demands of international business. They will not only need to have the expertise to build technology for businesses but also understand business practice.

Our BSc Business Computing degree develops these computing skills and meets the demands of businesses, both nationally and internationally, including:

• selling online, through 'virtual storefronts' and online catalogues
• the exchange of business data
• online market research
• ensuring the security of business transactions

Students have 24-hour access to our award-winning computing building. It has an unusual mixture of lab space and breakout areas, with a range of equipment for you to use such as programming kit for games consoles including the Nintendo Wii and Sony Playstation. The School of Computing is also home to one of only two Microsoft Surface tables in Scotland.

You will take a unique module specially developed by the School of Computing and leading industrialists for this degree: Technology Innovation Management - a UK "first".
