This knowledge will be supported by hands-on sessions in which you will learn about the basics of digital video camera operation, sound recording and editing techniques giving you the opportunity to develop your work in group sessions.

The course will also enhance your personal skills and knowledge such as critical questioning, group work, presentation skills, creating a subject specific journal and constructing a portfolio.

You will learn through a mix of lectures, discussions, workshops, screenings, practical sessions and independent study. For successful completion of the course you will be required to complete two pieces of work ‚ a portfolio of cinematography and sound recording assignments; and a portfolio of editing assignments.
