The course makes use of several forms of assessment, including essays (of various lengths), notebooks and journals, group and single oral presentations, short timed exercises and exams (including open book exams). The majority of the classes are relatively small compared to other universities (a typical seminar might have 10-20 students), which means there is generally a closer, more friendly relationship between students and staff.
