The course will cover:

- Main causes of fire within the workplace
- Arson
- Induction training for new team members
- Means of escape
- Human behavior
- Evacuation
- Roll call and fire drills
- Products of combustion
- Hands on practical fire extinguisher training using real extinguishers on real fires in 5 different scenarios within a safe and controlled environment

Fire Wardens will have a greater understanding of the fire risks in the workplace and be able to carry out company procedures as well as associated risks of fire and how to prevent them.
Candidates will use a live fire training unit to learn how to use fire extinguishers correctly and safely.
This course is approved by the Institute of Fire Engineers.
