The Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) on Windows Server 2003 course provides students with the knowledge and skills that are needed to effectively maintain server resources, monitor server performance, and safeguard data on a computer running one of the operating systems in the Microsoft Windows® Server 2003. Students will learn how to implement server IP addressing, name resolution, network security, and more. In addition you will gain the knowledge and skills that are needed to implement, administer, and troubleshoot information systems that incorporate Microsoft Windows XP Professional.

This course is ideal for anyone wanting to become a MCSA IT Specialist.

No prior knowledge is necessary to study this course although it is recommended you have a good computer knowledge.

We recommended you spend approximately 160 hours of your time studying for the Microsoft MCSA on Windows Server 2003 Course. The pace of study is completely up to you. To give an example, if you dedicate 4 hours a week to the course it would take you a year to complete but if you could spare 7 hours a week you could complete it in six months.

EXAM 70-271 + EXAM 70-272: Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician, EXAM 70-290: MANAGING AND MAINTAINING A WINDOWS SERVER 2003 ENVIRONMENT, EXAM 70-291: IMPLEMENTING, MANAGING,AND MAINTAINING A WINDOWS SERVER 2003 NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE.

Exam fees are not included and are payable directly to the test centre. Pearson VUE® Authorized Test Centers or Prometric Test Centres are available for you to book your exams.

Assessment for this award is carried out by exam at a local approved test centre. Candidates will gain experience through hands-on lab exercises that allow you to practice what you learn in a fully functional, simulated environment, as well as access to practice tests and exam simulators. In addition, students will have the full support of an expert tutor to guide you every step of the way.
