This course is ideal for anyone wanting to become a MCSA IT Specialist.

At UK Open Learning we pride ourselves on our friendly and supportive tutors. Your tutor support will start as soon as you receive your course and will be valid for 12 months. All our tutors are highly qualified with extensive experience in supporting distance learning students. You contact your tutor via email and they are responsible for answering your questions and guiding you through the course to ensure you are ready for your examinations.

No prior knowledge is necessary to study this course although it is recommended you have a good computer knowledge.

We recommended you spend approximately 160 hours of your time studying for the Microsoft MCSA on Windows Server 2003 Course. The pace of study is completely up to you. To give an example, if you dedicate 4 hours a week to the course it would take you a year to complete but if you could spare 7 hours a week you could complete it in six months.

EXAM 70-270: INSTALLING, CONFIGURING, AND ADMINISTERING WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL. EXAM 70-271 + EXAM 70-272: Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician, EXAM 70-290: MANAGING AND MAINTAINING A WINDOWS SERVER 2003 ENVIRONMENT, EXAM 70-291: IMPLEMENTING, MANAGING,AND MAINTAINING A WINDOWS SERVER 2003 NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE.

Exam fees are not included and are payable directly to the test centre. Pearson VUE® Authorized Test Centers or Prometric Test Centres are available for you to book your exams.

Assessment for this award is carried out by exam at a local approved test centre. Candidates will gain experience through hands-on lab exercises that allow you to practice what you learn in a fully functional, simulated environment, as well as access to practice tests and exam simulators. In addition, students will have the full support of an expert tutor to guide you every step of the way.
