Unit 3 – Principles of managing information and producing documents

This unit enables you to develop your knowledge and understanding of managing information and also being able to design and produce documents securely when working in a business environment. When you have completed this unit you should know and understand:

Designing and monitoring information systems.
Researching and storing information.
Organising, reporting and evaluating the relevance of information.
Designing and producing documents.
Security and confidentiality.

Unit 4 – Principles of providing and maintaining administrative systems 

This unit introduces you to the knowledge and understanding needed to complete core administrative tasks in a business environment, including ordering goods and services, minimising waste and delivering effective customer service. When you have completed this unit you should know and understand: Ordering products and services. Minimising waste. Delivering effective customer service. Taking minutes. Organising meetings and events. Managing diary systems
