"I booked this course through a voucher site (Living Social). The course was spread out over 9 days split into two segments.
I really enjoyed the first session. However, during the second session the trainers described how they have cured clients suffering from cancer, artheritis and allergies. I was shocked but at the time believed them (they are very convincing).
In addition, during the training they do hypnosis and teach time line therapy, plus other visulisation techniques. You then practice this with class mates (who have had no training up to this point).
If you suffer from any mental illness this course is therefore completely unsuitable for you.
During the course they frequently try to sell other courses.
At the end of the course they hold an "assessment". The trainers and volunteers split you into groups. I failed this assessment and really believed I would therefore not be able to treat my asthma and mental illness. I am shocked now, but at the time I was in a vulnerable state (I even stopped my medication).
Please speak to other people before going on this course. It is affiliated with John grinder (NLP founder) but he was not present.
At the end of the 9 days you are told you are now a NLP Practioner and can charge people and help them with their aliments. In comparison, medical professionals need to complete 7 years training not 9 days!
Tony Robbins courses are much better value.
I also referred other people and was not paid my referal fee. I have taken this company to small claims court.
I hold no bitterness, but hope people reading this speak to people who have attended the course before booking their place. This company is not regulated by the association of NLP (ANLP) therefore you have no regulator to complain to (this company self regulates). NLP is not regulated in the UK, please be careful.
