Full-Time courses for 16-18 School Leavers are Free.
Course fees are per year.
If you are aged between 19 and 23 and you don’t have a qualification equivalent to 2 A Levels, tuition fees will be waived. If you meet the Eligible Benefit criteria AND are aged 19-23, tuition fees will be waived. Tuition fees will not be waived for students aged over 23 studying a Level 3 or higher course, however these students may qualify for a 24+ Advanced Learning Loan.

Course Content: This course is suited to anyone with a passion for
dance and those students who are interested in pursuing a career in
dance or studying dance at degree level. Although it is
predominately practical by nature you will take part in theory
sessions to deepen your understanding of dance. Units that you will
study include:
• Dance performances
• Contemporary dance techniques
• Classical ballet techniques
• Choreographing dances
• Urban dance
• Jazz dance
• Tap dance
• Dance appreciation Entry Qualification: Entry onto this course
consists of a positive outcome of an audition (experience of dance
required) and the achievement of 5 GCSES at grade C or above.
Special Features: You will be required to purchase and wear
specialist dance uniform and shoes which are fundamental to your
studies. Course Format: The majority of your learning will take
place in the dance studio where you will develop specific dance
techniques and skills. You will also learn through rehearsing and
performing.
You will be assessed in the following ways:
• Ongoing class assessments
• Dance performances
• Theory tasks Progression: The Diploma provides an acceptable
qualification for Degree and other HE courses in Performing Arts
and other areas. You may want to go straight into employment,
either performing or working for a Theatre or Dance/Drama Company
as an arts administrator, or some related area of creative
