Full-Time courses for 16-18 School Leavers are Free.
If you are studying at Level 1 or 2 AND you meet the Eligible Benefit criteria tuition fees will be waived. (Registration Fees will still apply). If you are studying at Level 3 AND you meet the Eligible Benefit criteria AND are aged between 19 and 23, tuition fees will be waived. Tuition fees will not be waived for students aged over 23 studying a Level 3 or higher course, however these students may qualify for a 24+ Advanced Learning Loan.

Course Content: Over the duration of the course, you will learn how
to investigate fact, use deduction; learn how to put over your
point of view fluently and how to work as a team to achieve
results.
At AS, the main theme is entrepreneurs and enterprise; we look at
legal structures, market research, protecting the business idea,
the marketing mix, human resources and production.
At A2, we progress onto multinational organisations focusing in
depth on the functions of Finance, Marketing, Human Resources and
Operations. Entry Qualification: For entry onto this course, you
are required to have achieved at least 5 GCSEs grades A*-C, ideally
both English and Maths at grade C. Special Features: You will learn
via the use of ICT for presentations and research, case study
analysis, questions (verbal and written), PowerPoint delivery,
individual and group work. Creative brainstorming, video
demonstrations, practical activities. Course Format: External
assessment by 2 exams each year.
In class assessment to monitor progress (There is no coursework
assessment). Progression: Students who wish to progress on to A2
Business Studies must achieve grade D at AS Level.
Business and Accounting related degree courses. Business Studies
develop skills that are transferable into a range of degree
programmes.
