Delivered by our highly qualifi ed, experienced IPAF instructors, these courses equip individuals with the essential skills, knowledge and understanding required to safely and competently operate the MEWP.
The courses specifically include:Introduction and MEWP categoriesRelevant legislation and structural partsPre-use inspections and handoverSafe operating methods and hazardsTheory testPractical trainingPractical assessmentOn completion of each course, individuals will achieve an IPAF certifi cate and PAL Card (Powered Access Licence) evidencing their ability to consistently endorse good operating practice in the workplace.

MEWP Harness SafetyDuration: 4 hoursDeveloped specifi cally for all MEWP operators, the Harness Safety course provides learners with a practical understanding of how to select, inspect and safely use a harness and associated equipment.The course covers:IntroductionCategories of safe work at heightHarnesses suitable for use in MEWPsCorrect Fitting and adjustment of harnessPractical assembly and fi tting of harnessFall arrestInspection criteriaDocumentary evidence
