AutoCAD LT Advanced

This course will coach delegates in the advanced features of AutoCAD LT, and show how the package can be used to obtain more than is possible from the drawing board. It also demonstrates how LT drawings can be integrated with other computer packages. This course is aimed at delegates who have already completed the Foundation and Intermediate level courses (or who are already experienced LT users).

- Adding text information to blocks
- Extracting this information to produce parts lists, bill of materials

Export / Import
- Transferring information from LT to another computer programme and vice versa

Model space / Paper space
- Use the paper space command in preparation for plotting
- Creating viewports and using the MVIEW command

Solids
- Creating 2D solid shapes

UCS
- Manipulating the position and orientation of the X - Y drawing plane

XREF
- Externally referencing finished drawings into another drawing
