Our arts and crafts courses are delivered by highly skilled, enthusiastic tutors who can help you to unlock your creative potential.
Beginners’ courses are specifically designed for learners who want to take the opportunity to develop a new skill and are only available to applicants who have not completed a course in the subject in the previous 3 academic years. Beginners will develop a sound understanding of the principles of their chosen discipline, whilst gaining confidence to express themselves as the course progresses. There will be opportunities to enrol for further courses to build on the basic principles.

All courses will have an induction session on the start date, in order to assess the suitability of the courses for all learners, allow you to meet the tutors, complete any forms and ask any questions you may have. There is no charge for the induction session. This is shown as ‘+1’ in the ‘weeks’ column.
You will need to attend this session in order to discuss what you want from the course with the tutor, and to establish a plan for your learning. There will also be an opportunity to ask for any extra support you may need, discuss progression opportu-nities or ask for advice and guidance.
