Whether you are a complete beginner or have some previous experience, this course will show you how to use your creative flair and put together beautiful floral designs.
 
 
During the course you will achieve the following:

  • Be able to condition and preserve flowers and foliages
  • Be able to name some of the flowers and foliages used in each design
  • Understand/suggest appropriate flowers/foliages for different styles of arrangement
  • Understand the use of colour and design in floristry (eg balance, colour, shape, texture).
  • Understand how to wire flowers and foliages and understand the purpose of doing this
  • Develop skills to create a range of designs including hand-tied bouquets and designs…

  • Evaluate own work and suggest areas for improvement
  • Use knowledge and skills learned to design own piece of work by end of course
