2. To cover the duties of a fire warden in the event of a fire
Note: This course should be delivered in conjunction with the Fire Awareness including the safe use of portable fire extinguishers course (WIHQ35).
Overview:
At the end of this course students should be able to:
- State relevant legislation to duties of fire warden
- Identify fire hazards in the workplace
- State main duties of fire warden on a daily basis
- State the correct action to be taken in the event of a fire
- Implement the emergency procedure in the event of a fire
- Describe principal ways in which humans may behave during a fire situation
