Note: This course should be delivered in conjunction with the Fire Awareness including the safe use of portable fire extinguishers course (WIHQ35).

Overview:

At the end of this course students should be able to:

  1. State relevant legislation to duties of fire warden
  2. Identify fire hazards in the workplace
  3. State main duties of fire warden on a daily basis
  4. State the correct action to be taken in the event of a fire
  5. Implement the emergency procedure in the event of a fire
  6. Describe principal ways in which humans may behave during a fire situation
