The APMP (IPMA Level D) is an internationally recognised
qualification awarded by the Association for Project Management,
the UK's leading association for project management professionals.
The focus of this intensive course is to provide you with a level
of knowledge that will enhance your ability to manage projects and
give you a professional qualification that is transferrable across
any industry and sector.
No previous experience of working in projects is necessary;
however, it would be ideal if delegates have had some experience of
working in a project environment, preferably as a project
manager.
Pre-read material is provided before attending the course. It is
essential that you review all the information prior to attending
the event – it will require approximately 25 hours study prior to
the course. This programme also requires some structured self-study
during the course to cover the material contained within the
examination. Delegates are also advised to download support
documentation from the APM website to assist with their study.
The documentation will be sent to you in advance and must be
brought along to the course as it will be needed for reference
during the training. The more you do before the course, the more
time there will be during the course to ask questions, confirm your
understanding and make sure you are adequately prepared. Please
make a list of any questions so that these can be addressed during
the course.
