Wood Occupations Diploma Level 1 Course Details The course consists
of six mandatory units listed below and a synoptic practical
assignment and a GOLA online end exam administered by CAA. The
course consists of the following units of competence: 1Safe working
practices in construction. 2Information, Quantities, Communicating
with others. 3Building technology. 4Basic woodwork joints. 5Use and
maintenance of carpentry and joinery hand tools. 6Portable power
tools. Entry Requirements There are no formal entry requirements
but you will be expected to attend an interview. An interest in CDT

the college. There is an end test. Learning Outcome This
qualification is an alternative to NVQ Craft Qualifications for
those who do not have a job/placement, with some (equivalent units)
