Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership

The level 7 qualifications in Strategic Management and Leadership are designed for directors and senior managers who have the authority and personal inspiration to translate organisational strategy into effective performance.  These qualifications require the manager to focus on the requirements of implementing the organisation’s strategy.  These qualifications are also suitable for aspiring senior managers.

VRQs are work-based but assessed by written assignment.  They are made up of units covering a wide range of management topics, allowing you to tailor the size and elements of the qualification to suit you and your organisation’s specific needs.

With a more comprehensive structure, the CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership gives you all the key skills and competencies you’ll need to become an effective strategic manager.

To achieve a Chartered Management Institute Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership, you need to successfully complete all core units units (Group A) and three optional units (Group B) to a total of at least 66 credits. (All units) The Diploma can take between 6 to 12 months.

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification.  Assessment is normally through practical work based assignments.  This ensures you minimise time away from work and that you undertake work study which is relevant to your own organisation’s context.  Learners should have sufficient capability at the right level to undertake the learning and assessment.
