Overview

This one-day seminar will give you a thorough introduction into Microsoft Access. Having completed the seminar, you will fully understand not only database concepts, but also will have learnt how to create your own business database.

It is not necessary for you to have prior experience of Microsoft Access.

This workshop is held at our five Pitman Training Centres in Scotland. It will teach you how to keep an accurate account of your customers’, colleagues’ or members’ details; target the right audience for mailshots and manage customer relationships by using an Access database.

The seminar covers such issues as;

  • Access tables - tables are the most important element to successful database creation – get this right and you are half way there!
  • How to query your database - having entered your data, how will you extract the relevant pieces of information?
  • Design user friendly forms - asking others who have no Access knowledge to enter data, can cause problems.
  • Produce professional reports - poorly presented data becomes a thing of the past.
