Arranged as a 5 day Bootcamp with a preliminary E-learning module, this course is aimed at providing students with the knowledge and skills applicable to the NCDS certification for CS1000 Networking Design.

Course Description:

- Upgrades from Rel 4.5
For students who wish to follow the complete curriculum and gain the NCDS certification the E-learning will cover the VoIP technologies area and the 5 day workshop will cover the CS1000 specific material.
The course is targeted at Design and Pre-Sales Engineers
specifically but may be of benefit to project managers.
Students who have already achieved the NCTS Certification or those
not seeking to take the qualifying exams may drop the e-learning
module from this course of study.
Similarly Students already familiar with Rel 4.5 or Certified at
Rel 4 may wish to attend only the last 2 days of the course.
By the end of the training you will be able to:
- Describe the CS1000 Rel 5 Architecture for CS1000M & CS1000E
- Identify the components of the CS1000 and any optional Management Servers
- Describe the management interface options for the CS1000
- Describe the LAN connection requirements for a CS1000 system
- Describe IP Peer Networking and the options available
- Identify the Redundancy options for the CS1000 and list the requirements of each
- Identify valid upgrade paths for Rel 4.5 systems
- Detail Upgrade options for moving from a Rls 5
- Standard Availability to High Availability system
- Given specific scenarios identify the correct upgrade path from Rls 4.5 to 5.5

- CS1000S Upgrades To CS1000E Component Selection
- CS1000E Upgrades Which components to Replace
- MG1000T Upgrades To CS1000E or MG1000E with MGC
- SA to HA Upgrades Upgrading form Standard Availability to High Availability
