This degree will enable participants to study business whilst providing an insight into cultural and international impacts fostering greater cultural awareness.
As a student on MSc International Business you will be entitled to a free iPad to enhance your learning experience. Students will be provided with the iPad upon commencing the course to access the latest learning materials. Additionally, students will also be supplied with a £100 Blackwell's book voucher.

With regards to the foreign language, students who plan to choose this option must register for their chosen language and attend the module from the beginning of the first terms until the end of the second term. Students will be able to attend an induction session at the start of the course in which they will receive all the relevant information in relation to this matter.
Your course will culminate in an exciting opportunity to apply the theory you have learned throughout the programme by participating in a live consultancy project, working for real clients. The project will give you the chance to undertake focused research and develop a range of of professional skills including working in teams, managing a complex project and liasing with a client. At the end of the project, you will reflect on your own personal development and undertake some related personal enquiry.
The programme begins with a one-week induction designed to help you prepare for your studies. A key feature of the induction will be a short residential team-building course in the beautiful English countryside, and you will also have opportunities to meet members of the teaching team and other postgraduate students, receive detailed programme information, and gain valuable support and guidance from the library, careers service, international office and student support services.
How will I learn?Teaching and learning methods are centred around interactive workshops which are highly participative in nature and will employ case studies, discussions, business simulations and group activities.
How will I be assessed?Types of assessment will range from group presentations all the way to essays, reports, financial analyses, literature reviews, and a research based project.
