This course has a defined focus on design, trend prediction and forecasting in response to the current needs of the fashion industry. There has been an increase in the number of designers being employed who are required to analyse and interpret market needs quickly. These designers are expected to provide only the trend and design aspect of fashion as opposed to pattern cutting and technical skills. We work closely with trend forecasting and design companies on live briefs ensuring our graduates are well prepared for work within the fashion industry.

Throughout the two years students will undertake regular live
projects and attend seminars and exhibitions.

Students must have between 120 and 240 UCAS points from:
- Diploma in Foundation Studies Art & Design
- At least two 'A' Levels at A2, with one in an art & design subject area
- BTEC National Certificate or Diploma in art and design-related subject area
- Progression Diploma with relevant Principal Learning
- Advanced Diploma with relevant Principal or Additional & Specialist Learning (ASL)
- International Baccalaureate
Mature students with relevant experience and/or qualifications, including an Access to HE Diploma within a relevant area, are welcome to apply. You will be invited to attend an interview with a portfolio of your work.
