This qualification consists of the following:
- Learning the theory behind inspection and testing
- Practical sessions to learn how to inspect and test
- Learn why the tests are conducted
- Practice assessments
This course is based on Guidance Note 3 published by The IEE. Familiarity with this book (or the testing procedure as written in the On Site Guide) before the course, will help students to get the most out of this course.
ALL students must enrol six weeks before the course start for the exam registration with City and Guilds and have the following:
- Hold the City & Guilds 2382 (17th Edition) qualification
- Be actively involved in the Electrical Installation industry
