This course consists of the following:
- Skin care & facial including analysing skin
- Massage using basic aroma oils including Indian head & Swedish massage moves
- Manicure
- Pedicure
- Eye treatments
- Basic waxing techniques
- Structure & functions of skin/nails
- Effects of massage
- Understanding reasons & benefits of treatments
- Consultation
- Contra-indications
- After-care advice
Students must be:
- Aged 19 or over as of 31 August 2012
- Studying their first ACLS funded course
- A Nottingham County Council resident
