Founded in 1984, the head office is at Enterprise Park West, Sunderland. MTC is one of a number of successful commercial enterprises formed by the University of Sunderland. We carry a small team of professional staff, all of whom provide key services to our customers. With a policy of continuous staff development, the aim is to ensure all staff meet the highest technical standards. Our technical consultants offer full guidance to attendees on the most appropriate training and certifications.
All programs are enhanced by in-centre testing facilities from Prometric and Pearson VUE.
Our trainers/consultants also undertake a range of consultancy activities, working with small to large organisations. The majority of projects focus upon network and email communications (design, implementation and support), database development using platforms such as Microsoft Access, Visual Basic and SQL server.
A full range of desktop application courses supplement MTC's large portfolio of authorised technical education courses.
MTC serves the whole of the North East region, including, Sunderland, Newcastle, Durham Teesside, Tyne and Wear, Cumbria, Northumberland, Darlington, North Yorkshire. In addition MTC supports many clients from outside of the region.
