Using the internet safely and effectively

This course covers problems with surfing the Internet and how to overcome these problems.  It will look at how to recognise safe websites, understand Internet terminology and appreciate steps that can be taken to ensure a safe Internet experience.

Learner & Entry Requirements: 

Basic keyboard and mouse skills are required.  No knowledge of the Internet is required as this is intended as an introductory course.  Some Word Processing skills would be of benefit.

General & First Session:  

Please bring a pen, notepad and folder to contain notes, exercises, etc.  KAE is unable to offer refunds for any equipment, materials or books if the class is subsequently closed.
