Completion of the Extended Diploma will also enable you to continue onto Higher Education.

The syllabus covers essential management, plus wide−ranging and practical horticultural knowledge.
Units include:
- Principles of plant and soil science
- Industry experience
- Horticultural skills and plant knowledge
- Machinery operation
- Applied plant science
- Business and management
- Garden design
- Propagation skills
- Tree management/arboriculture
23 weeks
College Days - Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (TBC).
Entry Requirements
To do this top up Extended Diploma, you will need to have completed the Level 3 90 Credit Diploma (HR213) or a Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma.
