Reflexology
This evening class will provide you with the knowledge of the
principles of reflexology, and how reflexologists practice helping
you to gain the relevant skills to obtain the V.T.C.T. Level 3
Diploma in Reflexology within the College training salon.
You will learn the benefits and techniques of reflexology and be
able to provide treatments safely and effectively to clients in
different circumstances. This is a practitioner level qualification
which will enable you to either specialise in your field via
employment or self employment within the beauty or complementary
therapy industry.

and equipment. Full details will be available during the induction
evening.
The length of the course is 29 weeks - 1 x3hr lesson per week.
What Subjects will I study?
The qualification consists of four units:
Health, safety and hygiene for complementary therapies.
This unit will provide you with the knowledge, understanding and
skills to work safely and hygienically within the complementary and
integrated healthcare sector.
Principles and practice of complementary therapy.
This unit will provide you with the knowledge, understanding and
skills to enable you to practice complementary therapies.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology for complementary
therapies.
This unit will not be taught as anatomy, physiology and pathology
is a prerequisite to entry.
Provide reflexology.
This unit will provide you with the knowledge, understanding and
skills required to carry out reflexology.
