PRINCE2® (Projects In Controlled Environments-version two) is a de facto standard in project management in the UK and internationally across all sectors of industry. The flexibility of the methodology allows it to be scaled to the employer’s specific requirements whilst retaining the robust framework that has proven to be so effective.
No travel or accommodation costs are incurred as e-learning allows you to train anywhere, anytime with no loss of valuable work time. The course takes approximately 24 study hours to complete with a 2.5 hour long multiple choice examination which can be taken up to 6 months after.
Classroom learning is blended with interactive software and should be used as pre-course material and to under-pin classroom sessions.
What do I need to get on this course?
Some experience of project management.
How will I be assessed?
The course is broken down into bite-sized lessons and combines leading edge multi- media and interactive exercises for optimum enjoyment and retention.
Full tutorial support is available via e-mail and phone for the duration of your study. The unique mock exam simulator allows you to test and re-test your understanding before the exam.
This level is aiming to measure whether a candidate could apply PRINCE2 to the running and managing of a non-complex project within an environment supporting PRINCE2. To this end you will need to exhibit the competence required for the Foundation qualification, and show that you can apply and tailor PRINCE2 to address the needs and problems of a given project scenario. The exam is open-book (only the PRINCE2 Manual is allowed) and has a pass mark of 55% (59/ 108).
